Places to visit while in Miami

I have been visiting Miami since I was 12 years old. For the longest time this was my mom's favorite go to place to visit during holidays and who can blame her? Miami has this different vibe that makes any tourist fall in love with the culture that the city is known to have and we can't forget about its gorgeous beaches.

I want to share with you some of my favorite places to check out on your next trip, from food to site seeing.

You can never go wrong with Wynwood. It's an area full of art galleries, boutiques, and small cozy restaurants. If you are looking for picture opportunities, this is the place to visit.

My friend Yessenia kept talking about "El Micro Teatro" (Micro Theater) It is such a cool concept that you must check it out. Every bend that you see below fits about 10-15 people, it is furnished with air conditioning and each has a different short play. You pay $5 to go into each play, which to be honest was totally worth it. Most plays are in Spanish but if you can go to just experience the concept it will be totally worth the visit.

Little Havana is a must when in Miami. You can find barber shops like, LUIS Barber Shop, on Calle Ocho that continue to kept the original barbershop concept alive. You can also find amazing Cuban pastries and cafecito down the street at Versailles. Take a Uber or a Taxi just a couple blocks down to Dominio Park and experience all the professionals battle it out against each other.

For Ice-cream visit Azucar! I had the Maguey ice-cream and it was amazing! They also have their best seller that includes guava with vanilla and chunks of Maria cookies. Delish!

It is a must have for me to have the amazing ceviche at CVI.CHE 105 in downtown Miami. The food is fresh and flavorful. I can reassure you that you will not find anything like it anywhere else. And make sure to get dessert.

Make sure to let me know if you visit any of the above. I know you will enjoy it!

Hugs,

Viri
