The girl squad hits Los Cabos

What to do when you have a long weekend off? You plan a trip with your girls to the beautiful beaches of Mexico because that’s always a good idea!  Here is the full recap of my trip to Los Cabos, Mexico.

Saturday, May 28th:

Part of our girl tribe had already left a couple of days before to Los Cabos and due to work my friend Yuri and I decided to leave that Saturday morning.

We stayed at the Playa SolMar Resort, which was amazing. Obviously the first thing we did once arriving to our room was change to meet up the girls by the pool…Oh! I can’t forget to mention the fantastic sushi bar where we had some amazing rolls.

We were actually upgraded to a really nice suite once arriving to our hotel. Part of the perks was having this amazing private pool over looking both sides of Los Cabos.

That night we made reservations at one of the restaurants in our hotel to celebrate our friend, Sandra’s 30th birthday. The staff was so nice and made sure our birthday girl felt special.

And once in Cabo well you party…so we decided to go to Mandal which is one of the most popular Mexican club chains. To be honest Mandal in Cancun is so much better, but when your with your girls it always a good time.

Sunday, May 29th:

The moment we had all been waiting for! We decided to get a boat that would take us to see the famous arch as well as to Lover’s Beach. Unfortunately, Lover’s beach was closed due to strong waves so plan B was Medrano’s beach. By the way, all of these beaches are really close to each other but the only way to access Lover’s Beach is by boat.

The amazing part of our little boat ride was all the different sea creatures we got to see.

Medrano’s Beach is the part were more tourist stay just because there is more water activities as well as access to a swimming beach. There is also locals that walk around selling fruit, food or small souvenirs.

After our afternoon at Medrano’s Beach we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our boat dinner party which would take us for two hours to over look Cabo’s amazing sunset by the arch. The boat tour at first was a little on the boring side but once the open bar opened and the MC/DJ turned up it was a different story. We even saw a prosthetic leg get thrown from one side of the boat to the other. LOL! I still laugh till this day when I think about it.

After our great sunset party we headed back to the hotel for another night out. Hey! It’s Cabo. But before we headed out we decided to go out to the beach and look at the stars. It was truly magical. That night we basically clubbed hopped and ended up at a taco stand.(So typical lol)

Monday, May 30th:

Camels in Mexico? Yes and we got to ride them. It’s so different then riding a horse. We are always up for new experiences and this was definitely one of them. What was even cooler was the fact that these camels are rescued from different circumstances. The staff at Wild Canyon were really nice and informative.

We then headed back and took a stroll down the Marina where there are tons of little shops and restaurants.

For our lastnight we headed to the pool to see the sunset and ordered room service to enjoy the view from our balcony.

Tuesday, May 31st:

There is nothing like waking up early to see the sun rise. I was able to get some amazing pictures from our room view.

And then it was time to say adiós!

Thank You Los Cabos, Mexico for an amazing trip! And to my girls who are my backbone and life partners in crime. We have traveled long distances and plan to make a lot more memories. Love y’all! (Jacqueline we missed you)
