A tour around Wynwood-Miami

Hello lovelies,
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you must have seen that I was in Miami last week for Hispanicize 2016.

Aside from being super excited to attend my first Hispanicize conference, I was excited to visit Wynwood. In my pervious trips to Miami for one reason or another I could never make it to Wynwood. So my blogger friend, Jihane, (Visit her blog here) and I decided to head to the art district for an afternoon of color and fun.

It’s amazing how this area has became the Mecca of art murals in Miami. According to our uber driver (LOL) a couple of years ago this area was considered to be one of the sketchy areas of Miami but thanks to the art murals and new business this area has became the “IT” area for locals and tourists.

There is no doubt about how hip and cool Wynwood is. We walked blocks and blocks and captured some awesome pictures along the way. We also had lunch at Wynwood Kitchen which is highly recommended especially the ropa vieja empanadas. They were delish!

I already can’t wait to go back. Wynwood is by far a must when you visit Miami. Make sure to share your reccommendations and pictures with me via Twitter. Follow me @ViriMal

Until next time,

💗 Viri
