Houstonians glamed up this week for the best event in Houston fashion none other then, Fashion Houston.
I had the opportunity to attend day 2 of this 4 day event and must say everyone looked super fab on the red carpet. The best thing about fashion is getting to express your personality through clothing and accessories.
Many local celebrities attended this top-notch event such as Fox 26 Meteorologist Caitilin Espinosa, Mega 101’s Morning Radio Host Cindy Burbano, Univison Radio Host Rodolfo ‘El Chamo,’ Image Style Consultant Pedro Abasola, Miss US Houston Latina 2014 Ashley Rodriguez, among many others.
Here is the rundown and my personal favorites from day two’s Fashion Houston runway.
Opening the show was The Art Institute of Houston Fashion Designers: Demartini, 228 by L. Yates, Inclán and DAI.
228 by L. Yates
Next up was the amazing Rubin Singer, dynasty of Russian Fashion, one word to describe his pieces is edgy.
Entertainment was also incorporated to the runway by MET dance Company.
Fabulous jewelry pieces from M.C.L by Matthew Campbell Laurenza made a statement on the runway.
A great touch was added to the night with local singer, Manuel Noe, singing one song in Spanish and the second song in English accompanied by a model wearing a spectacular red dress. I have toapplaud the organizers of Fashion Houston for adding local Latino talent to the show.
Glamour struck the runway with stunning pieces by Rene Ruiz. So Fab!
And to close out the night the talented Indian-American fashion designer, Naeem Khan, made every girl in the room gasp for air with the astonishing details of his dresses.
It was a lovely fabulous night to say the least at Fashion Houston. Can’t wait to see whats in store for next year.
